Yesterday we gave you our recap of Day 1 at this year's CES, and we continue that coverage with another day's worth of meetings and misadventures, starting breakfast. Just what kind of misadventures, you ask? Follow along to find out all the gritty details...

As the saying goes, the early bird gets the worm, but we got the shaft. Bright eyed and bushy tailed, we arrive promptly at the Venetian for our early morning appointment with In-Win, but instead of a productive meeting, we're awarded with a clue-less look from the reception desk when we ask which suite In-Win's staying in. Unfortunately for us, In-Win registered their room under a different name, and as tempting as it was, we decided to pass on knocking on each individual door in a quest to track them down. Not to worry, we've rescheduled and will speak with them later this week.

With an entire morning to kill, we headed out to breakfast at the Caribe Cafe where we sat down and took a double take at the menu. We've seen $5 muffins before, but in a Las Vegas casino? Yikes! We skipped the $6 cereal and scarfed down a hearty $13 omelette before heading out to our next meeting with lighter pockets. Thanks Caribe!

No stranger to HardwareLogic's review lineup, we had high expectations for ECS after seeing their GPU and motherboard lineup at Computex this last summer. Instead, we were greeted by a handful of AMD based motherboards and a pair of mainstream NVIDIA videocards. ECS does expect to release an X48 board before the end of Q1, but their main focus will be on targeting the mainstream market and OEM vendors.
