Today we are taking a close look at the GF7100PVT-M motherboard presented by Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS). ECS provides affordable options for the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) crowd with a wide variety of motherboard types and styles to fit the many DIY genres. With this board, they tout compatibility with 45nm CPUs, DDR2-800 memory, a 1333 FSB and even HDMI output with the onboard video. ECS seems to have packed quite a bit into this micro-ATX board. It leaves us wondering which type of DIYer will get the most out of this board, and who might be left to search for other options. Surely they couldn't pack everything you might want into this little board. Or could they?

The DVI-to-HDMI adapter is nice little eye-catcher to remind us that this little board does have something special. The rest of the bundled items are fairly basic and don't really give us much to be excited about. So we'll move on to take a closer look at what they packed into this little plank.
