Imation M-Class 128GB SSD
The Imation M-Class 128GB SSD offers an easy-to-use transfer kit, great performance and a lot of convenience; but for some people the cost of upgrading may outweigh the features this drive brings to the table.

Introduction

Drive Exterior

Solid state hard drives have been rapidly growing in market share over the past few years as prices continue to fall and reliability continues to increase. What was once a niche technology is now relatively mainstream, and Microsoft has even said that Windows 7 was developed with SSDs in mind, hoping to capitalizing on the performance benefits they have while minimizing their shortcomings. Imation, long known for their presence in computer storage, has put together a sizeable model range of different SSDs for different needs and uses. One such example is the M-Class series of SSDs that HardwareLogic has today.

Packaging

The front of the packaging is pretty straightforward. It shows the drive and the enclosure, as well as the product name. The Imation logo is on all but one side of the box, and everything is a subdued blue color.

Drive Packaging

The bottom of the box contains the basic instructions meant to exemplify ease of use, as well as a picture of the enclosure with the drive in it. The right side of the box contains the drive specifications, and the left side has the warranty information.
