Seagate Technology (NYSE:STX) today unveiled a new program designed to spur business growth for its high-value North American system builders by providing dedicated support and exclusive resources that can help these channel partners reduce costs, increase profits and improve their hardware and software delivery infrastructure. The new program, Seagate Premier, focuses on top-performing system builders that are hard-drive volume and strategic category leaders in new growth segments such as surveillance and rugged solutions.

GROWTH WITH KEY, HIGH-VALUE AMERICAS CHANNEL PARTNERS


SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. — October 29, 2007 — Seagate Technology (NYSE:STX)
today unveiled a new program designed to spur business growth for its
high-value North American system builders by providing dedicated support
and exclusive resources that can help these channel partners reduce costs,
increase profits and improve their hardware and software delivery
infrastructure. The new program, Seagate Premier, focuses on
top-performing system builders that are hard-drive volume and strategic
category leaders in new growth segments such as surveillance and rugged
solutions.

Seagate Premier, part of the Seagate Partner Program (SPP), takes aim at
helping Seagate’s high-performing channel partners thrive in an
increasingly competitive industry. SPP Premier membership offers enhanced
benefits such as named Seagate account management support, product and
solution training, solution seminars, partner matchmaking events, and
eligibility to access market development funds. SPP Premier members also
receive all the standard SPP benefits including quarterly web seminars and
evaluation units, sales incentives and product rebates, and monthly
newsletters.
